B&B

River Park Farm is a delightful 17th century West Sussex tile hung farmhouse set in a rural location a mile off the nearest public road. The first reference to a house on this site dates back to 1584, although the earliest part of the present house was constructed around 1650. The large garden is simple, with lawns, wonderfully scented old fashioned roses in May and June, and a small vegetable garden set amidst the surrounding trees.

The Moss family have been welcoming guests to their home for thirty five years. Visitors appreciate the traditional feel and relaxed atmosphere of our home and many return year after year (see below for some guest comments). The present proprietor is Melanie Moss, daughter of Pat and Nick who ran the bed and breakfast for many years.

Breakfast is served between 8.00 and 9.30 in the dining room, where guests can enjoy a full English breakfast with most ingredients produced locally (the eggs come courtesy of our flock of free range chickens). There is a selection of pubs serving good food within a short drive (our two local pubs are both just a couple of miles away, The Hollist Arms and The Lickfold Inn), we can reserve a table for you if required.

Children and babies are welcome, and a travel cot is available if required. Please note that we do not take animals.

Room rates and payment: From £30.00 per person, per night. Single occupancy rates on request. For bookings of more than three nights please enquire for special rates (excludes weekends, bank holidays & Goodwood motor sport / racing events). Please note that we do not accept any card payments - cheque or cash only please. If you have not stayed with us before we will require a deposit, this is normally 50% of the booking value.
